music video

From this first export you can see that we were at our early stages of development. We forced on the narrative as we had some funny and eye catching parts but it was obvious that the introduction of the music video was lacking to we need a strong introduction and this was a key focus on development.

In this second export we wanted to experiment with different speeds and this resulted in the actor waling down fast and flowing with the beat of the music. Although this export is small it has all the competitions of britpop genre, we wanted to add to the music video.

In this third export you can see that our ending to our music video has been added. For the ending we adding a slit screen that split into 4 sides and this was primarily done to correlate the music lyrics, just kike with Andrew Goodwin theory that "music videos are an extension of the lyrics". We also had an idea of fading the actor pout or having the screen slit into 16 parts but first we would have to try them out and see which on is the best.

This short 5th export is I believe would work perfectly with our music video has it brings the comedic aspect to the table and it fits well with the funny lyrics for this every reason I would  want to incorporate more shots like this in our music video.

For the sixths and final developing export we introduced two shots that I believe would work well with the britpop genre. We had a slow motion shot of the camera rotating in a circle as the lyrics said "round and round" so we again followed Andrew Goodwin's theory. The second shot was of the actor wearing a pigeon mask and running toward the camera this further emphasised the comedic aspect of the music video furthermore both shots work really well with the music Verdi and we will use it in the fiaol music video.
